In case you missed it, here is a link to our June Newsletter click here news from Verbier, Zermatt, St Moritz and our ski instructors around the world.
Congratulations to long term ES instructor Giles Broadhead (Gilo) and new wife Holly on their recent wedding!
ES Adaptive Manager, Sam Colby and keen snowboarder, Izzi Lock competed in the Verbier Hi-Five event last Saturday. The pair were in a Mountain Man Bi-ski and were the only adaptive participants. They raced in all the categories involving a Skier Cross, Speed Trap and Giant Slalom. Also competing in the event were some famous faces from the snowsports and music industries, including the likes of Didier Cuche, Tina Mazé, Didier Défago, Fränzi Aufdenblatten, Adrien Théaux, Tina Weirather, Alex Fiva, Sanna Lüdi and James Blunt!
The day was a success and went extremely well, although unfortunately the pair did not win any of the categories! They came 116th overall! A party was held at the Carlsverg resuaturnt in the afternoon with the girls ACDC tribute band, Back:N:Black and plenty of delicious food and drink. Later, a Mega Party was held in resort at Pub Mont Fort with the Pros serving yet more drinks and food.
The final results and images are due to be posted shortly on the official Carlsberg Hi-Five website but for now a huge congratulation to both Sam and Izzi!

Well Raced ES Adaptive!!
ES Adaptive is a partner of Disability Snowsport UK (DSUK) and caters ultimately for the disabled skier providing professional one-2-one tuition to learn in a fun, friendly way. Thanks to the generous support of the Verbier population we are fortunate enough to be a well equipped adaptive snowsport School.
Our mission is simple: ES provides the best snowsport instructing experience in Europe’s leading ski resorts. The ES instructor’s mission is to become “my ski instructor” and not “the ski instructor”. How? By building trust and loyalty over many years of fun-filled holidays in the best resorts in Europe.
