Indoor Sky Diving Near Verbier
Verbier Ski School Operations Head Rachel Tugwell Went to check out Sion’s new Realfly facility.
At the start of this summer i was fortunate to experience Realfly in Sion. REALFLY is the first indoor skydiving simulator in Switzerland. The building reaches a height of 24 meters, and another 7 metres underground giving around 30 metres of air circuits.
I had a professionally trained instructor called Mathieu who accompanied me throughout the equipment phase, during my flight, as well as for my post flight debrief. He gave me great support during my first free fall session… Which was such a fantastic sensation!
The concept is based on a blowing system installed in a tunnel that recreates the real thrill of free-fall allowing you to discover the sensations similar to those of a parachute jump. It was absolutely amazing and i would recommend it to anyone who is even just the slightest bit interested. They will even take children from 5 years old so its a great activity for the whole family. Go any try it for yourself…”
More photo’s soon

ES Adaptive are looking for budding volunteers in the area of Verbier to help out and join in with lessons and events!
What is ES Adaptive?
Our Adaptive Snowsports Program in Verbier aims to assist the people with disabilities to enjoy the thrill and freedom of the mountains with their family and friends!
Why?
A lot of time and effort goes into Adaptive Snowsports and in the past we have relied heavily on the support of dedicated volunteers to help with our lessons. Without this generous support we would not be able to do what we currently do and run efficiently! As a result, this season we have decided to make this official and launch a Volunteer Program to get as many people involved as possible and fulfilling the Adaptive Experience!
How?
We understand that Time can sometimes be difficult to spare but no matter, if you are can spare a minute or 24 hours we would be happy to get you involved! This is a great opportunity to develop skills and experience working with individuals with a disability and can be extremely rewarding. Rewards will be offered in return for all your hard work and dedicated time! All we ask is that you have your own lift pass and bring along massive SMILES! 😆
You are guaranteed you have an AWESOME time and meet some truly amazing people!!
