Hannah Bryans began skiing at the respectable age of 10 when her family moved to Zürich. Family ski weekends and holidays soon gave rise to an obsession with skiing and the mountains. After University, this obsession developed into a desire to pursue a career in ski teaching and Hannah moved to the Alps. Over a decade later and she is still here.
Hannah is the Ski School Director in Zermatt. She is a qualified ski instructor to the top level, both British Level 4 ISTD and Swiss Brevet Federal. Hannah is proud to be a trainer for the British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI), coaching and examining hopeful instructors, helping them to find and nurture their passion for teaching and skiing.
Hannah has taught throughout Europe, for a brief stint in Mayrhofen, Austria, before finding her true home in the Swiss Alps. She has also dabbled with the Southern Hemisphere, teaching in Perisher, Australia, for a handful of seasons. She had a 1-year hiatus where she completed her Post Graduate Certificate of Education in Secondary Mathematics, but the Alps promptly drew her back. Whilst Hannah remains busy with ski school duties, she will always make time for her clients and enjoys meeting new people and skiing with new guests each year.
