Elena grew up in the Austrian Alps, where she learned to ski. She has been working as a ski instructor since 2021. For her, the most important thing is the joy of skiing, and that’s exactly what she aims to share with others. Whether someone is a complete beginner or already has experience, her main goal is that everyone has a great time on the slopes.
Why did you choose to to teach snowsport?
I chose to teach snowsports because I love skiing and enjoy sharing it with others. Helping people learn, improve and have fun on the mountain feels rewarding, and it keeps me motivated to stay skilled and connected to the sport.
What makes you special as an instructor?
I try to keep my lessons fun and I focus on adjusting to what each person needs. It’s important to me that people feel comfortable and enjoy themselves while learning.
Why did you choose Zermatt?
I chose Zermatt because it is an iconic ski destination with amazing mountains and a great atmosphere. It’s a place where people come to really enjoy skiing and I wanted to be part of that experience while helping others to make the most of it.
