Verbier

Alexander is a 23 year old skier from above the polar circle in northern Sweden. He has a racing background with a lot of freeride experience on the side, including competitions. Alex has raced all discipline, including FIS races. He has also participated in Swedish freeride competitions.

Alexander is a relaxed guy with good mountain knowledge. He can teach all ages and abilities in Swedish, English and Russian.

Why did you choose to teach snowsports? I have been skiing all my life and want to share my knowledge with others. Skiing is the best sport in the world.

What makes you special as an instructor? My riding style, aggressive but smooth in most terrain.

What do you do in the summers? Working in the mine in Kiruna, BBQ with friends and fishing. When the weather is good we go for some cliffjumping in old mineholes.

Fanny has worked as a ski instructor since 2020. She has worked all primarily in Sweden but has travelled and skied in the Italian Alps. Fanny is a friendly, energetic and social girl who enjoys teaching all ages and abilities. If this is your first time on the slopes, she will guide you and help you find confidence through your very first turns. If you are looking to advance your skills she will offer good advice and tips to improve.

Why did you choose to teach snowsports?

I chose to teach skiing as it is a life long passion of mine. I love being outdoors in the slopes, have fun and enjoy both physical activity and movement as well as the scenery of the alps. I love to teach and share the joy of skiing with others.

Verbier offers the best skiing in the Swiss Alps.

Victor Olsson has been a ski instructor for the last three years in Sälen, Sweden. Victor has been skiing since he was three years old and he has explored a lot of different mountains in Sweden and Europe. Victor loves to help people to develop their skills and want to give them the same joy and passion for skiing that he has himself. Victor welcomes both beginners and advanced skiers to challenge them in different slopes.

What makes you special as an instructor?

I am very responsive to what my students need and I listen and challenge them on the level they are in.

Hilda has been a ski instructor since she was 18 and has grown up skiing in Verbier, where her parents are both instructors. With a deep passion for the sport, especially freeride, and a love for her home resort, she enjoys sharing her knowledge of the mountains and helping clients of all levels improve their skills. Whether it’s your first time on the slopes or you’re looking to tackle some challenging terrain, Hilda is a friendly and patient instructor who’ll make sure you have a great time while discovering the beauty of Verbier.

What makes you special as an instructor?

What makes me special as an instructor is my deep connection to Verbier, where I’ve skied since I was born. It is a real pleasure sharing my biggest passion with people coming to improve their skills and discover the resort.

What is your favorite mountain restaurant in Verbier?

My favourite restaurant is le Dahu situated down of La Chaux.

Audrey is passionate about everything around her, and especially the mountains. She loves spending time outside looking for new places to explore. “Adventure shared is happiness doubled” she believes. Having a special interest in human relationships, Audrey has found in the teaching of skiing, the perfect vocation! She is delighted to share her passion and guide first timers or help advanced skiers improve their level so that everyone can have more fun out there !

 

Catalin is entirely focused on your vacation and on having a good time with clients on the slopes.
However, he also is a strong believer in the need for peace and rest after few good ski laps 🙂
