My kids want to ski in the snowpark – help!
Kids in the snowpark. Since ‘slopestyle’ was added to the 2014 Winter Olympic freestyle events in Sochi, the buzz from freestyle and park riding has reached much wider audiences. The new snow that came to Verbier allowed the park crew to build a snowpark using boxes, rails and beginner sized jumps for all the skiers and snowboarders to rip around on. There are still a lot of exposed rocks and large cliffs in the off-piste areas so the snowpark has been noticeably busier than usual, with all the keen freestylers practicing their tricks and having way too much fun! The first few days in December have been bathed in winter sunshine but a little on the chilly side. The low temperatures have ensured that all the early snow is sticking around and that the pistes are in great condition.
The ES team are rolling into town ready for the season ahead. Most have been up for a ski already, enjoying the grippy pistes and beautiful weather. Here are some pictures from the first few days of December.

Not your average commute to work…
After a bit of a topsy turvy Autumn in Verbier it appears that Winter is finally here, just in time for our first open weekend!
The opening weekend was a bit of a mixed bag as well. After a cloudy start on Saturday those who had made the effort were treated to some lovely fresh tracks.
