22/02/09 Weather Report Zermatt.
Yet More Snow for Zermatt!!
Monday:
Today we received another 5+cm of fresh snow. Tomorrow should be great skiing conditions with continued snow showers throughout the day and night. Temperatures will remain cold staying below freezing in town and as low as -17’C at the top lift stations.
Tuesday:
The morning will be much of the same with continued snow showers. The afternoon appears to be brightening up so remember a change of lenses for your goggles if you want to be able to see the fresh Pow. Tuesday night will be Baltic dropping to -11’C in town so wrap up warm when you head out on the town.
Wednesday:
Today should be a stunner of a blue bird day remaining clear all day. The wind will drop and the temperatures will rise so a great day for all even you fair weather skiers! Make sure you hit the slopes early as conditions like this are not to be missed.

A complete mixed bag!!
Sunday:
After the second sunny day in a row tomorrow appears to be a mixed bag. The morning should be a stunner so get on the slopes early! The afternoon may start to cloud over with the evening bringing a sprinkling of new snow. Be aware it will remain cold, town will not rise above -4 ‘C and the top lift stations will drop as low as -23’C so layer up!
Monday:
Will be much of the same as Sunday. The morning may bring a little more light snow but start to brighten up in the afternoon with the possibility of more snow showers. Light winds will help but it will still be cold especially in the evening when it will drop as low as -9 ‘C in town.
Tuesday:
Expect more snow! Forecasts predict light snow showers all day! Make sure you take your bandana as the winds appear to be picking up and the temperature shows no signs of rising!

Tuesday 3rd February 2009.
Bring on the snow!!
The snow will keep on falling, but be prepared it will be cold! The temperature will drop as low as -18˚C at the top lifts and not get above zero in town dropping much lower in the evening so wrap up warm. Great news it should be light winds so the Pow will be awesome.
Wednesday 4th February 2009.
Expect much of the same as Tuesday, fingers crossed the snow will keep falling!

Wednesday:
Great news!! Yet more snow has fallen over the whole of Zermatt today. Wednesday looks to be clearing up again but will remain cold with the temperature not rising above -7 so the snow should remain awesome. Added to this the wind will be light so a great day on the mountain is ahead.
Thursday:
Thursday morning looks like it is going to be a stunner with perfect riding conditions. The afternoon will start to cloud up with the possibility of yet more snow showers. The temperature will start to drop in the afternoon with a cold night ahead getting as low as -12 down in town, so if your heading to the Pap wrap up warm!

Sunday:
After a mixed weather day yesterday, today appears bright during the morning. The afternoon should be blue bird, with the evening bringing some more flutters of fresh snow. Wrap up warm as the temperature will be well below freezing dropping to -17 at the top lift station with fresh winds. Keep your eyes open as you may well be able to find some secret powder stashes remaining after the great snow we’ve had the past few days.
Monday:
Monday will continue as Sunday left off with light snow falling throughout the day. The temperature will remain well below freezing not rising above -4 in town and dropping as low as -17 at the top. Make sure you wear your low viz lenses to be able to make out the powdery bumps!
