Why did you choose to teach snowsport?
I chose to teach snowsport because I love snowboarding and have been riding for over 10 years. I enjoy the scenic mountain landscapes and sharing the joy I feel on the slopes. I am passionate about helping others improve, progress, and have fun while reaching their full potential.

My passion for snowboarding, positive attitude, and dedication to helping others improve. I enjoy sharing the joy of being on the slopes, motivating people of all levels, and creating a fun, safe, and encouraging learning environment.

What do you do in the summers?
I love to travel and spend time with friends, enjoying social events and parties. I also ride my mountain bike and go swimming whenever I can. Summer is a time for me to explore, stay active, and have fun.

What is your favourite part of Zermatt?
I love riding in fresh powder and spending time in the park.

Why did you choose Zermatt?
I had heard many great things about Zermatt. Last year, I saw a Hungarian influencer skiing there, which inspired me to visit. I wanted to experience the scenic landscapes, vast number of pistes, and the unique opportunity to ski into Italy.

What top handy tip do you have for anyone visiting Zermatt?
Explore as many pistes as possible, dress in layers for changing weather, and enjoy the stunning mountain views. Be sure to try the local food and take the opportunity to ski into Italy.

Sharing my passion is the reason I chose to teach. Being put in a position where I can watch people gain enthusiasm in skiing as I help them improve is amazing! I want to share the joy skiing brings me, with others.

I like to think my enthusiasm is infectious. I do my best to draw confidence out of people to help them overcome hurdles in their way to becoming an awesome skier, all while making skiing seem easier and easier for them.

What do you do in the summers?
I’ve spent most of my past summers travelling and experiencing the world wherever I could.

Why did you choose Zermatt?
Instructing in Zermatt is an amazing opportunity. The resort offers a completely different experience to the seasons I have done previously and I will be surrounded by some top quality skiers that will help me to improve as well.

Ksenia spent many years in Magadan, a remote region in the Russian Far East where winter shapes daily life. She later spent six seasons skiing in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and then in St. Moritz, where she refined her technique and gained strong mountain experience.

As an instructor, she combines determination, clarity, and sharp observation. She quickly identifies what each skier needs and adapts the lesson accordingly, without unnecessary explanations. Students can expect real progress, precise corrections, and a calm, safe, and respectful atmosphere. Multilingual and patient, she helps both beginners and experienced skiers build confidence and enjoy the mountain with ease and motivation.

I enjoy challenges and working outdoors. I like seeing students overcome their fears, improve their technique, and gain confidence. Teaching skiing allows me to be precise, adapt to each person, and focus on real progress, all while surrounded by nature.

I adapt each lesson to the student, focusing on enjoyment, progress, and confidence. My goal is to make every day on skis better—helping you learn while having fun and motivating you to continue skiing in the future.

What do you do in the summers?
In summer, I work as a guide, travelling and organising experiences for groups and private guests. I enjoy exploring new places and staying active through swimming, cycling, and hiking. For me, summer means movement, learning, and discovery, with a focus on history, culture, and meaningful experiences.

Zermatt offers endless runs, many of which are among the best in Europe. It is a car-free village where I can ski in a challenging environment and enjoy every day to the fullest.

Sofie learned how to ski when she was four years old, but it wasn’t until she started teaching in 2021 that she discovered a job she loves in the ski industry. Since then, she has been instructing in her home country, the Czech Republic, as well as in Canada. She enjoys sharing her passion, teaching new skiers, and helping people build on and improve their skills. She is patient and easy to talk to.

I travel and spend a lot of time in the mountains; either hiking or climbing.

I have always wanted to explore the ski culture in Switzerland, and Zermatt truly is the place to be- awesome slopes, breathtaking views and you can ski over to Italy for some great food.

Kai is French and has loved skiing since childhood, having learned in the Alps with his family. He has spent over a year exploring and skiing in the Canadian Rockies and is now excited to share his passion with others.
