August was born in Sweden, and has been skiing since before he could tie his own shoes. Since then, he has worked to turn his hobby of skiing into a career. He loves exploring everything from off-piste to snow parks and pistes. Nowadays, you’ll find him carving down the slopes with some of his favorite tunes playing in his ears. With several years of experience working at a ski school in Sweden, he’s excited to bring his passion to Verbier in the winter. When he’s not on the slopes, you’ll find him catching the wind in a small sailing dinghy.

Why did you choose to teach Snowsports?
I started skiing at the age of 5 years old. I have always enjoyed this sport and being in the mountains, and what else could be better than sharing this passion with others and making it my profession? As I grew up in the ski industry, I enjoy more the technical aspect and want to share this knowledge with others.
What do you do in summers?
In the European summer, I do a Southern Hemisphere season in Australia. That means that I can keep skiing all year around, chasing the endless winter.
Why did you choose Zermatt?
I grew up skiing in the Pyrenees in the north of Spain. As a young kid, I have always dreamt about skiing in the Alps, the best mountains of the world. So, Zermatt is a beautiful town, one of the biggest ski areas, where you can ski in Italy and Switzerland, and with the highest ski lift in Europe. All these aspects make it a special place for me.
Where is your favourite part to ski?
My favourite part to ski is in the glacier, close to the Furggsattel chairlift. Where the slopes are wide, with a good inclination and the snow is always in a perfect condition.

Sebastian Beltramone
Hi 🙂
My name is Sebastian and I am from Rosario, Argentina.
My passion for the sports and outdoors brought me to Zermatt. With 10 years of teaching experience, I was lucky to be skiing all around the world. Places include the United States (Colorado), New Zealand (Remarkables), Japan, and Argentina.
I feel grateful for having the chance to create and share so many memories with a lot of people.
This also gave me a lot of experience which I keep learning from.
Let`s have fun on the slopes!
Charlotte Nyström
Charlotte Nyström has been skiing for as long as she can remember. Before coming to Verbier she worked for six years at a ski school in Sweden. On her days off you’ll find her carving in the slopes and during the summers she sails and plays golf. Age or ability does not matter, her enthusiasm and friendly nature will help improve your skiing whilst having fun!
Why did you choose to teach snowsports?
I choose to teach skiing because I want everyone to be able to experience the freeness of hitting the perfect carve in a fresh slope. Too be apart of a community of happy people. To teach people how to ski is also not the easiest thing, I love a challenge!

I think my ability to really understand peoples wants and needs makes me a good instructor. I’ve worked with a lot of different people in various ages, in various sports. It has given me perspective and experience I am very greatful for.

When I’m not studying psychology and behavioral science and the summer rolls around I sail. I’ve worked as an sailing instructor at the Royal Swedish Yacht Club. The children are between eight and fifteen years old. I love it and I’m having so much fun.

It might be the swede in me but I also really enjoy Le Shed.
