After leaving University, Graeme headed out to the Alps to do “one, or maybe two” ski seasons. Twelve years later he still can’t think of a good reason to head home to the UK and he is loving life in the mountains as much as ever! Grame has many years’ experience, which I hope to bring to every snowboard lesson. When the snow melts, I head to the west coast of France to pursue my other passion – surfing!

Jonas has accumulated over 25 years of instructor experience, having worked with European Snowsport from the beginning over 20 years ago. Before then, he worked as an instructor in Åre, Sweden for 5 years. He primarily teaches alpine, telemark and cross country skiing. Jonas is also the head of ESSE (European Snowsport Skiing Experience), our Swedish ski and snowboard school here in Switzerland, as well as the captain of the ES PDG (Patrouille des Glaciers) Team. When not on the slopes, Jonas enjoys long, dark walks in the forest and evenings by the fire.

“Our family had Jonas for the week in Verbier. As a family we were all at various stages of skiing and wanted more of a guide than instructions however we welcomed feedback to improve. Nothing was ever a problem for Jonas, he catered to everyone’s needs so perfectly.
Jonas was incredibly thoughtful, his knowledge of the mountain was second to none, he was on top of all the runs and on some occasions even showed us runs that were only just open by the resort and was an exceptional skier himself.
Nothing was ever a problem and he was exceptionally kind and had a great sense of humour.
Having skiid across Europe, North America and various other resorts Jonas one was of the best instructors / guides we’ve had. On our final day Jonas took me to the top of the Verbier mountain, having travelled extensively across many ski resorts this was arguably one of my favourite and most special ski days and I owe a huge amount to Jonas because of this.
