From skiing in Verbier, to Lake Geneva, and then the famous village of Zermatt. With this trip you will experience the best of the mountains and lakes of Switzerland, including chocolate making, and a visit to the historic village of Gruyere.
With some ski days, off snow days, and three different overnight locations (Verbier, Zermatt, Montreux), this trip is the perfect combination of action and relaxation.
The itinerary for your Swiss lakes and mountains tour
Day 1. Arrival day. Transfer by private vehicle from Geneva or Zurich and check in to hotel.
Swiss alpine ski
Day 2. Discover the slopes of Verbier with your experienced instructor. The resort enjoys consistent snowfalls, has a sunny beginner area, and is great for all levels. Finish your day with Swiss wine tasting experience
Day 3. Continue exploring the sunny slopes of Verbier with your instructor. After skiing, enjoy sunset over the Swiss Alps.
Day 4. Ski the best of the Verbier slopes with your instructor. After skiing, time for shopping in the village.
Day 5. Best views in Verbier with your instructor. Travel to the highest point in the 4 Valleys ski area, at 3300m. Amazing views to the Matterhorn in Zermatt and Mont Blanc in Chamonix.
Day 6. Snowshoeing and sleep in the mountains. Venture into the pine forests and alpine trails, then spend the night at a rustic mountain hut surrounded by an amazing landscape.
Day 7. Snowshoeing through the pristine alpine meadows, with a tour from your mountain hut back to the village.
To the lake
Day 8. Chocolate, spa and Lake Geneva. Private drive to Maison Cailler, the oldest chocolate brand still in existence in Switzerland. Participate in a chocolate workshop and tour the museum. Visit Gruyère, home of Switzerland’s most famous cheese. Complete the day with a visit to the warmest thermal baths in Switzerland. Check-in to your hotel close to Lake Geneva.
Day 9. Visit Chateau Chillon, a medieval castle situated at the edge of Lake Geneva. Take a ferry trip across Lake Geneva to the French spa town of Evian, home of the famous mineral water. Night in Montreux.
To Zermatt
Day 10. Zermatt tour and Matterhorn. Take the Swiss train beside the lake and along the Rhone valley, through the mountains to Zermatt. Tour of the old village of Zermatt and visit to Matterhorn Museum. Check in to central Zermatt hotel.
Day 11. Zermatt ski experience. Discover Zermatt on skis with your experienced instructor. Enjoy views of the magnificent Matterhorn as you ski. Time for shopping in Zermatt.
Day 12. Departure day. Swiss train to Geneva or Zurich airport.

Laura
Laura lived between Taiwan, China and Europe starting from 2015. She completed her masters in Chinese Studies at Tsinghua University of Hsinchu and then left the academic world to dedicate herself to her passion: the mountains.
Laura started skiing and snowboarding on the Alps at 4 years old, then managed to make snowsports her profession, first working as an interpreter for the Chinese National ski team, in preparation for the 2022 winter Olympic games, then becoming a ski instructor in the Swiss Ski School of Haute-Nendaz.
Johnny
Johnny loves adventure and travelling; he has lived in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Japan and Mexico. He learnt Chinese at university and spent his year abroad studying at East China Normal University in Shanghai. He lived in Shanghai for 2 years.
Johnny has lived in Verbier and knows the area like the back of his hand; he has spent the last 8 winters living and working in Verbier.
He provides his Asian network and clients the best resort experience both on and off snow in his home of the Swiss mountains.
