6 Day Swiss Ski and History Tour in Zermatt
Join us in the most famous Swiss ski resort
Your ski adventure in Zermatt is centred around perhaps the most famous of all Swiss ski resorts, a village overlooked by the Matterhorn. In this car free resort, you can walk through the historic village, be passed by horsedrawn carriages, and take the cog railway up into the snow from the village.
Zermatt is a huge ski area, linked to Italy, with a reputation for fantastic on-mountain dining. It is a good choice for beginners and families.
The itinerary for your ski adventure in Zermatt
Day 1. Arrival day. Transfer by private vehicle from Geneva or Zurich and check in to hotel.
Day 2. Get your ski equipment and ski! Discover the slopes of Zermatt with your experienced instructor. The resort is well protected with a high beginner area and is great for all levels. Finish your day with Swiss wine tasting experience.
Day 3. Continue exploring the magical slopes of Zermatt with your instructor. After skiing, take a walking tour of the old village and visit the Matterhorn Museum.
Day 4. Ski the best of the Zermatt slopes with your instructor. After skiing, enjoy sunset with a view of the Matterhorn.
Day 5. Views over the Matterhorn and to Italy with your instructor. Travel to the highest point in the Zermatt ski area, at almost 4000m. Amazing views of the Matterhorn en-route and over to Italy.
Day 6. Departure day. Transfer by train to Geneva or Zurich.
Other activities to add
Adrenaline rush
Fondue and sledging. Take the last ski lift up and enjoy fondue on the mountain. After dark, sledge back down to Zermatt. Guaranteed adventure!

Laura
Laura lived between Taiwan, China and Europe starting from 2015. She completed her masters in Chinese Studies at Tsinghua University of Hsinchu and then left the academic world to dedicate herself to her passion: the mountains.
Laura started skiing and snowboarding on the Alps at 4 years old, then managed to make snowsports her profession, first working as an interpreter for the Chinese National ski team, in preparation for the 2022 winter Olympic games, then becoming a ski instructor in the Swiss Ski School of Haute-Nendaz.
Johnny
Johnny loves adventure and travelling; he has lived in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Japan and Mexico. He learnt Chinese at university and spent his year abroad studying at East China Normal University in Shanghai. He lived in Shanghai for 2 years.
Johnny has lived in Verbier and knows the area like the back of his hand; he has spent the last 8 winters living and working in Verbier.
He provides his Asian network and clients the best resort experience both on and off snow in his home of the Swiss mountains.
