Riccardo is a cheerful and competent young man who is studying sports education at the University of Lausanne. He loves spending time with new people and is always willing to help others.
Riccardo has been skiing and snowboarding since he was a child. He grew up in the Alps and spent his winters on the slopes. He is an expert skier and snowboarder and is passionate about sharing his love of the sport with others.
Why did you choose to teach snowsports?
I love skiing and snowboarding, and everything that comes with it. Teaching means I can share my passion for skiing and snowboarding with others. I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy of this sport.
What makes you special as an instructor?
Riccardo is a patient instructor who is always willing to help my students succeed. I am also a great motivator and I am always encouraging my students to reach their full potential. I am always positive, and I believe that a positive attitude is essential for learning and growth.
What do you do in the summers?
During the summer, I work as a lifeguard in Zurich. I am also a passionate beach volleyball player and I enjoy competing in tournaments. In my free time, I love to travel and explore new cultures.
Where is your favourite part of your resort to ski/ride?
Attelas, to enjoy some on-piste/off-piste moments.
What is your favorite restaurant/mountain restaurant in Verbier?
Restaurant Marmotte.
Why did you choose Verbier?
Because it is a wonderful place to spend the days on the slopes, off the slopes and also great for partying with friends.
What top handy tip do you have for anyone visiting Verbier?
I suggest going skiing and taking advantage of the incredible ski arena that Verbier offers and then taking a walk around the characteristic town and taking advantage of the many culinary opportunities.
