A true explorer and nature lover, Astrid is passionate about taking people outdoors, learning together in freeing and creative ways. Ski and kitesurf instructor since 2017, she has been living in many countries and speaks around seven languages. The human part of her job, relating to a great diversity of people, is what she enjoys most. Verbier is her childhood resort, where she’s happy to guide you.

 

Arvid has worked as a ski instructor for 3 years in Sweden. He has taught students from 3 to 70 years old and has extensive experience teaching children, as he also works in a school in Sweden outside of his ski instructor profession.

He likes teaching younger individuals as well as those looking to learn park skiing and off-piste techniques. He is a calm and reliable instructor who structures his lessons in clear steps, always crafting each session to the needs of the client.

 

What makes you special as an instructor?

I have good patience and feel like i can do a good analysis depending on what the person need.

Åsa started to work as a ski instructor in Verbier 1992.

After more than 30 years, no one can teach your children a better pizza than Asa.

What makes you special as an instructor?

I think I’m the only instructor in Verbier who has chosen to work only with children.

Dominik Zingg is a calm, level-headed person who enjoys sport. Cycling in summer and skiing in winter. He is resident in the ski area all year round, and has a good knowledge of the region. He prides himself on knowing when and where to go on the slopes to avoid the crowds. Whether you are skiing for the first time or are already an advanced skier, regardless of age, Dominik will know the right slope for you.

Dièm has worked as a ski instructor for multiple seasons in different countries. He is a relaxed and open guy who enjoys connecting with new people. He can guide you through your first turn, and explore all the resort offers.

 

What makes you special as an instructor?

I am convinced that the most important part of teaching is having fun above all. If this means skipping an exercise to explore a new area or having a quick snowball fight with the kids then that is where my priority lies.

Alexander is a 23 year old skier from above the polar circle in northern Sweden. He has a racing background with a lot of freeride experience on the side, including competitions. Alex has raced all discipline, including FIS races. He has also participated in Swedish freeride competitions.

Alexander is a relaxed guy with good mountain knowledge. He can teach all ages and abilities in Swedish, English and Russian.

Why did you choose to teach snowsports? I have been skiing all my life and want to share my knowledge with others. Skiing is the best sport in the world.

What makes you special as an instructor? My riding style, aggressive but smooth in most terrain.

What do you do in the summers? Working in the mine in Kiruna, BBQ with friends and fishing. When the weather is good we go for some cliffjumping in old mineholes.
