Why did you choose to teach skiing?
I chose to teach because I love working with people of all ages and from all over the world. Why not do that while skiing?
Åsa started to work as a ski instructor in Verbier 1992. After more than 30 years as an instructor, no one can teach your children to do a better pizza than Åsa.
What makes you special as an instructor?
I think I’m the only instructor in Verbier who has chosen to work only with children.
Dominik is a calm, level-headed person who enjoys sport- cycling in summer and skiing in winter. He is resident in the ski area all year round, and has a good knowledge of the region. He prides himself on knowing when and where to go on the slopes to avoid the crowds. Whether you are skiing for the first time or are already an advanced skier, regardless of age, Dominik will know the right slope for you. Focused on teaching beginners and intermediate skiers, his goal is simple: to make sure you feel every step of improvement, building confidence with every run.
What makes you special as an instructor?
I offer patient, structured lessons designed to move you forward quickly and safely. I am also available for resort guiding to find the best snow and hidden gems. Let’s make your day on the mountain rewarding!
Audrey is a mountain lover with an endless passion for adventure. She spends her time exploring new places and believes that “sharing an adventure doubles the happiness.”
With her strong interest in human relations, she found her perfect vocation in ski instruction. She loves helping first-timers discover the joy of skiing and supporting advanced skiers as they improve their skills, ensuring that everyone has a great time!
She chose to teach snowsports because sharing her passion for the mountains and helping others progress brings her great joy. Seeing someone gain confidence and experience that “wow” moment on the snow is incredibly rewarding.
Catalin has been skiing and teaching in Verbier since 2021 and he holds the international ISIA level qualification, although he has been teaching skiing since 2013. He also has a degree in economics specialising in tourism. He is focused on your vacation and on having a good time with clients on the slopes. However, he also is a strong believer in the need for peace and rest after few good ski laps.
What makes you special as an instructor?
I am an experienced and fun instructor dedicated to making sure that my clients get the most out of their time on the snow in Verbier.
Lasse is a relaxed ski instructor from the Netherlands. This will be his second season with European Snowsport in Zermatt. He can guide you through your very first turns and take you down your millionth run. Besides being a ski instructor, Lasse loves to go for hikes, runs or really anything that is outdoors.
Why did you choose to teach snowsports?
I chose to teach skiing because ever since I was 4 I have been in love with skiing and the mountains. I love passing on my enthusiasm for skiing to others. To combine this and work on the mountain is really a dream come true!
What makes you special as an instructor?
I have a lot of patience and I help my clients go step by step onto more challenging terrain. This way I have seen so many people ski slopes they never thought they could do!
What do you do in the summers?
I attend university and I work in a restaurant.

What is your favourite restaurant/mountain restaurant in Zermatt?
In Zermatt, it is Adler Hitta; in Italy, it is Chalet Etoile!
Why did you choose Zermatt?
In my opinion, it is the best ski resort in Europe.
