Magnus really enjoys giving hints and tips to help you improve your skiing and reach new levels.
He is from Sweden and has been skiing since snow started to fall. He is always developing his own skills and progressing as an instructor.
Why did you choose to teach snowsports?
I like to help other people get onto skis so that they can experience the same joy of snow as I find on the slopes.
I enjoy supporting the development of adults in private lessons, children in group lessons or young race skiers shredding the pistes.
What makes you special as an instructor?
I strive to help skiers set their own individual goals, and to help them reach them.
What do you do in the summers?
I like to be out on the sea or have an active vacation, trekking, running and more.
Where is your favourite part of Zermatt to ski/ride?
The best part is where I can ask myself: “shall I go left to Italy or right to stay in Switzerland?”
Why did you choose Zermatt?
I love Zermatt for the epic view of Matterhorn. The view gives instant happiness
What top handy tip do you have for anyone visiting Zermatt?
Absorb the village atmosphere in a slow pace, bit by bit.

What a great instructor, guide and person!! We just spent two days with Magnus.. This is our first time visiting Zermatt and we wanted to understand the mountain and not spend the day worrying about where to go and messing around with the map. We had Magnus our first day, and he was so helpful since it had been two years since we skied. He took us all over the mountain and asked what kinds of runs we liked, and also gave us great instruction. The second day (later in the week) we had Magnus take us over to Cervinia. We are a family of four, with two teenagers. He got along well with everyone and we all agreed it was a much better experience in Zermatt because of him!
