Karl is a happy and passionate skier who loves to spend a day in the slopes. He has been skiing since the age of three and later competed in ski racing until he was 16 years old. After ending his own career he has now been an alpine ski racing instructor for four seasons. No matter if you are a beginner or an experienced skier, he can certainly show you a thing or two.
Why did you choose to teach snowsports?
I chose to start teaching skiing after ending my own alpine ski racing career. I felt that I simply had not gotten enough of the sport. It is now my time to pay back everything I have learned from my coaches and pass the knowledge forward.
What makes you special as an instructor?
I have a lot of tips and tricks under my belt from my years as both a ski racer myself, but also from being an instructor. My biggest strength though is that you rarely see me without a smile on my lips.
What do you do in the summers?
In the summers you can find me in the Stockholm archipelago. Usually out sailing or just enjoying the Swedish summer.
Why did you choose Verbier?
Because it seems to be a good resort with high quality slopes and a nice atmosphere outside the slopes as well.
