Isabell did her first season working as ski instructor in Whistler, BC in Canada 22/23. She knew for sure it wasn’t her last! Isabell is a very easygoing, smiling and passionated girl who fell in love with sharing her passion for skiing with others. She always strive to give students the best experience, help them achieve their goals, become more confident on skis and be the instructor they forever will remember with a smile on their face. That is very important to her.
Why did you choose to teach snowsports?
First of all being up in the mountains everyday is my definition of happiness. Besides that I love to help people in all ages to improve their skiing. I know it takes courage to be out of our comfort zones but seeing people doing it, is amazing!
What do you do in the summers?
Travelling around the world is something I almost love just as much as skiing 🙂 It’s amazing to go to new countries and become inspired by the new people you meet on your way. Last summer I spent enjoying life in the Canadian mountains while working on a horse ranch.
Where is your favorite part of Zermatt to ski/ride?
Zermatt offers plenty of good places to ski! The Gornergrat area is nice and wide which I’m a fan of. But also Sunnegga has some nice yellow slopes, which means it’s an off-piste but it’s safe to ski still.
Why did you choose Zermatt?
I never been to Switzerland before so I was thinking I should better choose the best place to go, in Switzerland, now that I decided I wanted to go. In Zermatt you have the most stunning views, great food and nice slopes. So of course I chose this place.
