Felix is a very relaxed and social guy who makes people comfortable and at ease. He has travelled all over the world for many years and skied in more than 60 ski resorts, including North and South Korea as well as in China and Greenland. His favorite place to ski is in northern Norway, Lofoten, Lyngen and Sunmöre Alps where he goes ski mountaineering.
Why did you choose to teach snowsports?
I started teaching in the late seventies and used to train new instructors for Swedish Friluftsfrämjandet for a number of years.
What makes you special as an instructor?
Haha, probably my age…
What do you do in the summers?
Hobbies; Cat sailing and kayaking!
Where is your favourite part of your resort to ski/ride?
Bruson, Rock Garden, Hidden Valley the piste to LA Tzoumas.
Why did you choose Verbier?
I was in Verbier the first time in 1976 and I have always been coming back. All my four children have a made at least one season in Verbier as have their three cousins and all mothers. So I would say it is a tradition in our family.
What top handy tip do you have for anyone visiting Verbier?
Go to Bruson if it snows but be careful.
