I’m a cheerful person, interested in people and I will start with you goals and adapt as we go. I really enjoy sharing my love of skiing with others and to inspire them to develop their own skiing, whether it’s to make their first turns, to grasp a new aspect of skiing, or to boost their confidence by challenging them to master more than they think they can, or just to enjoy skiing. I also enjoy developing my analytical understanding of skiing both as an instructor and in the instructor courses.
Why did you choose to teach snowsports?
My father was a ski instructor and I started skiing at a young age in the north of Sweden. As a person I like to inspire people in life in general. It was always a dream to become a ski instructor.
What makes you special as an instructor?
I am and interested in people and in analysis of skiing and I’m told I’m good at explaining.
What do you do in the summers?
Sailing, Kayaking, Hiking 🙂
Where is your favorite part of Zermatt to ski/ride?
I like the Rothorn a lot but there are other good slopes too. I guess where you don’t have to spend much time getting to the slopes.
What is your favorite restaurant/mountain restaurant in Zermatt?
Typically the one close by. The Buffet Bar Sunnegga has basic food but a very nice view of the Matterhorn. Also amazing view of the Mattehorn but better food at Blue Lounge.
Why did you choose Zermatt?
Beautiful village with great skiing where I have been before and love to come back.
What top handy tip do you have for anyone visiting Zermatt?
Depends on what you want:
– Some really nice carving slopes at Rothorn
– Long black Furgg Furi
– Easy blues at Riffelberg if you’re a beginner
