Marco is a 30 year old ski instructor from Denmark. He has worked as an instructor since 2018 and has experience in Italy, France and Switzerland. This year will be his third winter in Zermatt. Marco is good at taking care of all kinds of people- all ages and all levels from beginners to expert skiers.
Why did you choose to teach snowports?
I love teaching mountain sports, especially alpine skiing. I have grown up skiing so I have a huge passion for it. I love to teach others about skiing and I hope to share some of my passion with each client.
What makes you special as an instructor?
I have many years of experience so I’ve seen a lot different skiers from all levels groups. I put my heart into what I do and I am passionate about my job as a ski instructor.
What do you do in the summers?
When I am not skiing, I work and teach at a sports summer camp.
Where is your favourite part of Zermatt to ski/ride?
I really love the trip down from the top of Rothorn to Gant. I also like run 52 down to Stafelalp from Schwarzsee (the bonus is that Stafelalp has a really good restauarant!)
What is your favourite restaurant/mountain restaurant?
I have 3 favourites: Stafelalp, Alphitta and Enzian!
Why did you choose Zermatt?
It is a fantastic town with really beautiful mountains and with the possibility to ski all year round.

Mark Milton and John Harrison says
Marco is a great guide, he is calm patient and knowledgeable as well as safety conscious while able to bring fun and interest to the skiing experience. He was always on time and brought us to every part of the resort- he was able to judge our ability level and tailored our days accordingly. We would happily ski with him again and will recommend him and the school to our friends.
