Erik is returning to Verbier this winter for what will be his 16th season of ski and snowboard teaching around the world.
He has worked in Switzerland, Japan, Canada, as well as Australia, where he calls home.
As a multi-qualified instructor, Erik is able to teach skiing and snowboarding, as well as teaching snowsports to those with a disability.
Why did you choose to teach snowsports?
I choose to teaching snowsports to share my passion and experiences, and have the most fun possible in the mountains.
What makes you special as an instructor?
What makes me stand out is my ability to teach it all. Be it skiing, snowboarding, adults, or children, I am happy to help you reach your goals.
What do you do in the summers?
More winters! In the summer I am based in Falls Creek, Australia, for winter all year round.
Where is your favourite part of your resort to ski/ride?
The bumps on Tortin, and the terrain park in La Chaux, are some of my favourite places on the mountain.
What is your favorite restaurant/mountain restaurant in Verbier?
Le Dahu or Carrefour!
