Arthur Potokar

Arthur has travel and adventure mixed in with his diverse French, Slovene and English blood! Born in Liverpool and attending school in Wales, New Zealand and India, Arthur has been all over the world from a young age. Becoming qualified as a ski instructor in Whistler, Canada, Arthur has always been passionate about passing both his love and knowledge of skiing onto others. Between demonstrations of virtually perfect technique and the imparting of top tips to aid you on the slopes, you may hear a story or two of adventure such as the time Arthur travelled from Nepal to Bangladesh on the back of a motorcycle at 15 years old or a summer spent harvesting grapes in the vineyards of France. With Arthur, you’re set to have your own adventure in the snow.

What do you do in the summers?
I skateboard a lot, go climbing and adventure around Verbier and it’s surrounding areas.

What makes you special as an instructor?
I breathe snow.

  • Good morning! Arthur is a great ski instructor, very passionate skier. He has a very positive personality with a strong ability to stay focused on others needs, he is very supportive and knows how to challenge others. Our 7 years old son manage to ski with him 2 weeks and enjoyed every single day skiing with him. Thank you Arthur for your kindness, motivation, support and fun which made our son full of energy all day long. We really very much appreciate it and hope to have our son with you next year again.
