Simon has been skiing for as long as he can remember, and for the last four years he’s been working for a skiing school in Sweden. On a day off work you’ll find him either carving on the slopes or enjoying some fresh powder. Doesn’t matter if you’re a complete beginner or advanced skier, Simon can help you have fun in the mountains.
Why did you choose to teach snowsports?
I’ve had a lot of great ski instructors as a child and they made me interested in becoming one myself. And of course cause I love to ski and spread joy in the mountains!
What makes you special as an instructor?
I think that I have a very wide perspective of knowledge when it comes to skiing. Everything from carving techniques to ski touring or freeriding!
What do you do in the summers?
I spend my summers on an island in Stockholm’s archipelago. There is usually a lot of cliff diving and water skiing.
Where is your favourite part of your resort to ski/ride?
My favorite place to ski in Verbier is definitely around Attelas, and if I we want some adventure then go up to Mont Gelè.
What is your favorite restaurant/mountain restaurant in Verbier?
I think Cabane du Mont Fort is my favorite place. Amazing views and classic Swiss cuisine.
Why did you choose Verbier?
After spending last winter in Verbier it was no question to go for one more year. Great skiing and lovely people!
What top handy tip do you have for anyone visiting Verbier?
Explore the four valleys! But do have in mind it takes some time to get back so you don’t miss the last lift!
