Molly has been working as a ski instructing since 2019. She has worked in both New Zealand and Japan with children and adults of varying abilities. Molly is an easy going and fun loving kiwi who is passionate about creating magical and exciting experiences on snow whatever that might mean for you!
Why did you choose to teach snowsports?
I chose to become a ski instructor because I’m super passionate about the sport! I’ve spent a lot of amazing days on snow being the student so it’s a pleasure to be able to give those experiences to others!
What makes you special as an instructor?
What makes me special as an instructor is my ability to meet my guests where they are and being super flexible with what their expectations are for the day. I will always do my best to make sure that above all everyone enjoyed themselves and wants to come back!
What do you do in the summers?
I find another winter!!
Why did you choose Zermatt?
It’s my first ever time skiing in the alps and Zermatt seemed like a good place to start!!
Molly’s clients say:
“Molly worked with our two children, including our 4-year-old, and she was absolutely incredible. Our youngest had taken a few lessons before but hadn’t progressed much — Molly completely changed that. She used games, built confidence constantly, and made skiing so fun that our child didn’t want the lessons to end. By the end of the trip, our 4-year-old was skiing blue runs, which felt like a huge breakthrough. She was equally fantastic with our older child, who progressed to skiing reds confidently. What really stood out was the trust she built — our child usually doesn’t go off alone with instructors, but insisted on going with Molly independently because she felt so comfortable and engaged. Molly has a rare ability to connect with kids — patient, encouraging, and tireless — and she truly made them love skiing. We liked her so much that we extended lessons from just one day to full days Monday through Thursday.”- TripAdvisor, 29 March 2026
“I had a lot of fun skiing with my instructor Molly. She is kind and funny but also gives good tips and instructions on how to ski better. She manages to perfectly balance skill and fun on the slopes.”- Google, 17 February 2026
“My family had an unforgettable moment at Zermatt with European Snowsport. I know it’s expensive to hire a guide, but I highly recommend you have one. It will be very helpful to arrange your schedule without wasting any minute if you are first at Zermatt. With our family guide, Molly T, we visited and enjoyed what we could do for 2 days. My kids loved her and said she is the best instructor in their life. Tip: European Snowsport provide free pick-up service at the hotel. So, its better to prepare your gear the day before the ski day.”- Google, 13 February 2026

My daughter Sienna took a private and week of penguins with Molly this Easter break. Sienna had the time of her life. Skiing with her in the afternoons it was obvious the huge progress she was making. Molly gave her a huge amount of confidence as well as the skills to safely enjoy the mountain whilst making the lesson great fun. Sienna is certainly hooked on skiing.
Thank you Molly!
