Kai Chevance

Kai is French and has loved skiing since childhood, having learned in the Alps with his family. He has spent over a year exploring and skiing in the Canadian Rockies and is now excited to share his passion with others.

Friendly, patient, and energetic, Kai creates a safe and welcoming environment for kids, beginners, and more advanced skiers. He helps each student build confidence while having fun. Every lesson is designed to make the most of the day on the slopes, combining learning, adventure, and the joy of being outdoors.

Why did you choose to teach snowsport?
I chose to teach snowsport because I love the mountains and being outdoors. Skiing has always been where I feel happiest and most free, and teaching allows me to share that passion. Helping beginners discover the fun, freedom, and confidence that skiing brings is something I really enjoy.

What makes you special as an instructor?
My patience and my ability to make beginners feel safe and supported.

What do you do in the summers?
In the summer, I spend most of my time outdoors hiking, camping, and exploring new places. I enjoy staying active and being in nature, even without snow.

Why did you choose Zermatt?
I chose Zermatt because its landscapes, glaciers, and alpine environment make it an incredible place to live, learn, and teach.
