Ksenia has spent many years in Magadan, a remote region of the Russian Far East where winter shapes daily life. Later, after six seasons skiing in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and then in St. Moritz, she refined her technique and gained solid mountain experience. As an instructor, she combines determination, clarity and sharp observation. She quickly identifies what each skier needs and adapts the lesson without unnecessary explanations. Students can expect real progress, precise corrections and a calm, safe and respectful atmosphere. Multilingual and patient, she helps both beginners and experienced skiers build confidence and enjoy the mountain with motivation and ease.
Why did you choose to teach snowsports?
I enjoy challenges and working outdoors. I like seeing students push past their fears, improve their technique and gain confidence. Teaching skiing allows me to be precise, adapt to each person and focus on real progress all while surrounded by natrue.
What makes you special as an instructor?
I adapt each lesson to the student, focusing on enjoyment, progress and confidence. My goal is to make it a better day of skiing, helping you to learn while having fun and motivating you to continue skiing in the future.
What do you do in the summers?
In summer, I work as a guide, traveling and organizing experiences for groups and private guests. I enjoy exploring new places and staying active through swimming, cycling and hiking. Summer for me means movement, learning and discovering- with a focus on history, culture and meaningful experiences.
Why did you choose Zermatt?
Zermatt has endless runs with some of them being the best in Europe. It is a car-free village where I can ski in a challenging environment and enjoy every day to the fullest.

Ksenia was super patient with me! We skied together for five days, and she showed me exactly how to level up my skills on icy terrain. I truly enjoyed my time with her!

We had an incredible experience with Ksenia as our ski instructor. We were a family of four, all at very different skill levels, and she handled it effortlessly. Ksenia was endlessly patient, encouraging, and attentive to each of us, making sure everyone felt supported and confident. She helped us all progress while still keeping the lessons relaxed and fun. Her teaching style felt very natural, and she created an atmosphere where we could truly enjoy the mountain rather than feel pressured. Every moment with her was enjoyable and memorable, and she made our ski trip truly unforgettable.
