* Why do you choose to teach snowsports?
Wouldn’t you? Spending all day in the mountains is great in itself but even more rewarding if you can pass on that love of skiing to someone else. People get happier as they get better and you can’t help but be happy too!
* What do you do in the summer?
Theres no shortage of things to do in Verbier summertime – hiking, downhill mountain biking, swimming, cycling, running or taking off with a group of friends for some surfing. Or if I really didn’t get enough skiing over the winter there is always the glaciers nearby for just a bit more skiing!
* Favourite part of Verbier/Zermatt to ski/ride
As much of it as I can ski each day! Mont gele or even the M25 freshly pisted before anyone else has made it up there..
* Favourite restaurant or mountain restaurant in Verbier/Zermatt
So many to choose from! If its sunny then on the terrace at Chez Danny or Carrefour. And if its snowing a blizzard then Marmottes in the warm!
* Why did you choose Verbier/Zermatt?
Some friends I was working with in New Zealand recommended it. And they were right – its a great resort. I love the village feel of it and how accesible everything is. Then once you get up the hill there is lots to choose from and its easy to get away from the main runs and find what you like to ski. The nightlife is pretty good too!

Swiss cuisine involves cheese and more cheese and some potatoes.. and chocolate..
