Dag Eriksson

Dag took his first turns at the age of 3. Since then, he has been in love with the sport, both alpine and cross-country. At 9 years old, he began competing for the local ski club in Sweden where he became a race coach 7 years later. By working with both race skiers and beginners in the ski school, he has experienced all different levels, whether it's the clients first time on the slopes or they working towards technical perfection.

Why did you choose to teach snowsports?
Skiing has always been an important part of my life. I love everything about it: the surroundings, the people, the thrill. It’s something that I want to share with other people so they also can enjoy the same happiness and joy as well as improve their own skills and develop.

What makes you special as an instructor?
I believe that my time as an instructor in Sweden was very important since I got to teach skiers at many different levels. I am also a very happy person which tends to spread to the people around me. For me, there is never a bad day on the mountain.

What do you do in the summers?
When I'm not working as a sailing instructor on the local yacht club, I prefer to sail in the Stockholm archipelago together with my friends and family. I also enjoy travelling and experiencing new places and cultures.
