Luke Dobney

Luke fell in love with skiing on a school trip when he was 14. Since then he has been a ski instructor in Canada, Australia and Japan. However his favourite resort is Verbier and he has done 9 seasons here teaching.

What do you do in the summers?
I live in Verbier full time and work in building and maintenance during the summer here.

Where is your favorite part of Verbier to ski/ride?
The Piste de l'Ours in Veysonnaz. Or Mont Gelé for off piste

What is your favorite restaurant/mountain restaurant in Verbier?
Les Chottes in Veyonnaz is great. It's run by a local farmer. They have an ice tunnel and a hot tub too. In Verbier I love La Gouma - best pizza in town!

Why did you choose Verbier?
It has the best ski terrain around and an amazing local community. Plus it's nearly always sunny!
