Swiss Snowsports Recognise European Snowsport
European Snowsport has won yet another accolade in Switzerland. Swiss Snowsports, the governing body for ski schools and snowsport instructor training in Switzerland, has awarded European Snowsport category A Membership.
This sought after recognition gives European Snowsport the highest possible recognition available to an independent snowsport school in Switzerland.
Julian Griffiths, BASI trainer and director of European Snowsport said “we are chuffed to bits to be awarded this recognition – it shows that the quality of our instructors, training program and lessons has been recognised by the authorities in Switzerland”. He added “what the skiing public might not realise is that without this recognition it is impossible for us to recruit the best Swiss Instructors” European Snowsport has now been recognised both by BASI (the British Association of Ski Instructors) and Swiss Snowsports.
Nigel McConachie of BASI said “BASI is delighted for European Snowsport. They are the first British run school in the Alps to be awarded anything like this.”
Earlier in the year European Snowsport was also the first British run school in the Alps to be awarded the coveted “Q” quality award by the Swiss Tourist Federation. Toby Mallock of European Snowsport said “At the end of the day a ski school‘s reputation is only as good as the instructors it employs, and our focus has always been to recruit only the best instructors available. If we employ good people and train them well, our clients will have more fun, it’s that simple”
