Verbier Ski School Operations Head Rachel Tugwell Went to check out Sion’s new Realfly facility.
At the start of this summer i was fortunate to experience Realfly in Sion. REALFLY is the first indoor skydiving simulator in Switzerland. The building reaches a height of 24 meters, and another 7 metres underground giving around 30 metres of air circuits. 
I had a professionally trained instructor called Mathieu who accompanied me throughout the equipment phase, during my flight, as well as for my post flight debrief. He gave me great support during my first free fall session… Which was such a fantastic sensation!
The concept is based on a blowing system installed in a tunnel that recreates the real thrill of free-fall allowing you to discover the sensations similar to those of a parachute jump. It was absolutely amazing and i would recommend it to anyone who is even just the slightest bit interested. They will even take children from 5 years old so its a great activity for the whole family.
