Jackie is known for creating encouraging and enjoyable lessons where progress and confidence grow alongside plenty of good laughs. Her friendly nature and genuine passion for skiing make every session feel welcoming and fun, while helping clients make the most of their time in the mountains.
Why did you choose to teach snowsport?
I chose to teach snowsport because I love sharing my passion for the mountains and helping people build confidence while having fun on the slopes. Teaching allows me to combine sport, connection, and unforgettable experiences.
What makes you special as an instructor?
I adapt my teaching style to each individual and create a relaxed, positive learning environment. With clear communication and a good sense of humour, I make lessons both effective and enjoyable for children and adults.
What do you do in the summers?
In the summer, I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors, especially in the water surfing. I also love travelling when possible and balancing adventure, sport, and quality time with friends and family..
Where is your favourite part of Zermatt to ski/ride?
My favourite area to ski is around Trockener Steg, where the terrain is varied and the views of the Matterhorn are incredible. It is a perfect mix of great skiing and stunning scenery.
What is your favorite restaurant/mountain restaurant in Zermatt?
One of my favourite mountain restaurants in Zermatt is Alphitta. It offers great food, a cosy atmosphere, and breathtaking views of the Matterhorn, making it the perfect place to relax during a ski day.
Why did you choose Zermatt?
I chose Zermatt for its world-class skiing, international atmosphere, and unique mountain culture. The combination of challenging terrain, beautiful scenery, and lively village life makes it a very special place to work. The connection to Italy is an added bonus for a good coffee or pasta.
What top handy tip do you have for anyone visiting Zermatt?
Start your ski day early to enjoy quieter slopes and better snow conditions, and always take a moment to stop and enjoy the views—Zermatt is as much about the experience as it is about the skiing.

I was welcomed by an amazing ski instructor, Jackie. She followed me with appreciable professional and human skills, that in a few hours allowed me to remove many errors and gain back confidence on my skis. Highly suggested, and should I come back in Zermatt, I would like to be instructed by her again. Amazing!
