Sofie learned how to ski when she was four years old, but it wasn’t until she started teaching in 2021 that she discovered a job she loves in the ski industry. Since then, she has been instructing in her home country, the Czech Republic, as well as in Canada. She enjoys sharing her passion, teaching new skiers, and helping people build on and improve their skills. She is patient and easy to talk to.
Why did you choose to teach snowsports?
I love meeting new people and helping them make the most of their in the mountains.
What do you do in the summers?
I travel and spend a lot of time in the mountains; either hiking or climbing.
What did you choose Zermatt?
I have always wanted to explore the ski culture in Switzerland, and Zermatt truly is the place to be- awesome slopes, breathtaking views and you can ski over to Italy for some great food.
