Luca has worked as a ski instructor since 2017. He has worked many seasons back to back, across the European Alps, Switzerland, Canada, Japan and Australia. Luca is relaxed, patient and enjoys teaching skiing from the very first turns to upcoming instructors at any level; coaching athletes preparing for competitions. Why did you choose to teach snowsports?
I chose to teach Snowsport because being outdoors in the mountains makes me happy and so does sharing my love for the sport with people. Helping them achieve their goals is a challenging, yet extremely rewarding and fulfilling process everyday.
What makes you special as an instructor?
I have a very good eye when analysing and observing skiers. This helps me to coach them effectively and seamlessly, while still having the best time in the mountains.
What do you do in the summers?
I teach, coach, train and examine skiers in Australia.

Why did you choose Zermatt?
I chose Zermatt because it is close to home, a beautiful village and I can ski into Italy!

Book restaurants well in advance- the good ones get fully booked very quickly!
