Since she was introduced to skiing at the age of five, Malla has loved the mountains. She got to attend ski school her first years skiing and quickly created a dream of becoming a ski instructor herself.
Before Malla came to Zermatt, she spent two seasons in Sweden sharing her love for the slopes with others. With a background as a competitive swimmer, she has a keen interest in small details and enjoy teaching both those who want to improve their technical skills and those who are skiing for the first time. Age or ability does not matter, her enthusiasm and friendly nature will help improve your skiing whilst having fun!

Malla was a great instructor. Our family has different ski levels, she was very flexible and was able to meet our different needs. Malla is super friendly and knows the mountains very well, without her we wouldn’t be able to experience the whole mountain as we did.

Malla was so sweet, definitely one of the best ski instructors we’ve ever had. We had such a great time not only skiing in loads of different areas but working on techniques very usefully. She is the best, we hope to see and ski with her again!

Malla was our instructor for 1 day in Zermatt (Dec 2025). She was very knowledgeable about the resort and helped us plan our ski for the rest of the trip! She was EXCELLENT with our kids (aged 7 & 5). She was super friendly and made the day so fun for them. Her ski instruction with them was very age/ski level appropriate. Would absolutely request Malla if we go back to Zermatt next year.

Malla is a great teacher, very friendly and she has a good manner with the kids. She was always on time and the kids loved to be with her.
My daughter (11 years old) enjoyed the lessons and she could take over a lot of good skills and tips to go forward with the skiing and learning to ski safely.

I had not skied in over 15 years when we visited Zermatt. I wasn’t planning on skiing; however, after watching my sons having so much fun, I decided to try it again. To be safe, I hired Malla to give me a lesson. I’m so glad I did! She was very patient and clear with her instructions. After 3 hours under her guidance, she had me sailing down the slopes. I only fell once!
