Martina was born and raised near Lake Garda. She studied classical literature at the University of Padua and began working as a ski instructor in Val Gardena during her final year, from 2018 to 2019. She continued teaching there until last season while gaining experience as a high school teacher. For the past two years, she has also been a pilates reformer instructor. She not only loves teaching, but also sharing the passion, engagement, and physical and mental well-being that movement can bring.
She started teaching at age 25 with a more naïve and youthful approach and over time, she has changed and grown, exploring different paths while trying to balance skiing with other jobs. Ultimately, she realized that teaching on the snow is what truly makes her feel at home, both mentally and emotionally.
What makes you special as an instructor?
I believes that what makes me special as an instructor is that nothing has ever come easily to me, whether in sports or her studies. Because of this, I understand what students think, feel, and fear during a ski lesson.
