After a bit of a topsy turvy Autumn in Verbier it appears that Winter is finally here, just in time for our first open weekend!
The opening weekend was a bit of a mixed bag as well. After a cloudy start on Saturday those who had made the effort were treated to some lovely fresh tracks. Those who persevered were rewarded further when the cloud broke leaving a crisp, sunny winters day.

Sunday however was a bit of a wash out. The conditions were very difficult with low cloud, snow and wind to contend with. Not great skiing conditions but it bodes well for resort as over 40cm of snow fell up top!
We have had a really exciting start to winter in Verbier. Although the lifts are now closed until the weekend, yesterday’s snow has left the town looking like a wintery wonderland again. We can’t help but get excited! Here are some snaps from our way to work this morning.
