Kai is French and has loved skiing since childhood, learning in the Alps with his family. He has spent over a year exploring and skiing in the Canadian Rockies and now he is excited to shar his passion with others. Friendly, patient and energetic, Kai creates a safe and welcoming environment for kids, beginners or more advanced skiers- helping them gain confidence while having fun. Every lesson is designed to make the most of the day on the slopes, combining learning, adventure and the joy of being outdoors.
Why did you choose to teach snowsports?
I chose to teach snowsports because I love the mountains and being outdoors. Skiing has always been where I feel happy and free, and teaching allows me to share that passion. Helping beginners discover the fun, freedom, and confidence that skiing gives you is something I really enjoy.
What makes you special as an instructor?
What makes me special as an instructor is my patience and my ability to make beginners feel safe and supported.
What do you do in the summers?
In summer, I spend most of my time outdoors. I am hiking, camping, and exploring new places. I love being in nature, staying active, and enjoying the mountains even without snow.
Why did you choose Zermatt?
I chose Zermatt because the landscape, the glaciers, and the alpine environment make it an amazing place to live, learn, and teach.
