Helena loves meeting new people and teaching them different techniques, games and exercises to keep them safe and comfortable in the snow. Most importantly, she wants to make the experience fun, exciting and, for those who want a little bit more, challenging as well. She always makes an effort to end the day with everyone having a big smile on their faces.
What makes you special as an instructor?
What makes me special is that no matter the experience of my client, I will always do my best to customizing the lesson according to my clients needs and wishes, and of course making it fun!
What is your favorite restaurant in Verbier?
My favorite restaurant in verbier is by far Chez Dany, for me it is a little hidden gem in verbier, and you must ride trough a lot of different terrain and wooden forest to get there, and they have some of the best food on the mountain.
What top tip do you have for anyone visiting Verbier?
Think about going for a walk around the village, especially during Christmas time and get a feeling of the vibe in town. If the sun’s out and the legs are tired, go grab a sun chair at Ice Cube – sit back and relax!
We loved Helena! She spent 4 days in private lessons with our 4 children. Even though their ages and skill levels varied widely, she managed to customize the lesson so each of them made amazing progress and still had fun. She knew the area well, was mature and easy to deal with for us adults, and the kids had a blast. I would highly recommend Helena as a ski instructor and she’s a lovely person too. Helena spent 4 days with a group of four kids ages 6-10. The kids had a great time with her and each time were very excited to return to another day of ski with her. Communicating with Helena was a breaze and she accommodated all our requests with a wide smile. When we asked her to work on a specific skill with the kids she did just that and the progress was clearly evident at the end of the day. Highly recommend her Helena and will ask for her when we return if she will be available. Thank you Helena!

Helena was absolutely the perfect ski instructor!!! She could not have been more pleasant and was an absolute joy to be around. Our girls just adored her and were excited every morning to get up and hit the slopes to spend the day with her. The progress they made and confidence they gained on the slopes in 5 days was remarkable. We could not recommend her more and can’t wait for our next trip to Verbier and having Helena guide and instruct us again.
